Q: Where is Acony Bell Tiny Home Community located?

A: We are located in Mills River, NC, just a few miles from Brevard, NC, the Asheville Regional Airport, and 22 Miles from the city of Asheville, NC.

Q: Do you build tiny houses?

A: We do not build tiny homes, but we are happy to recommend tiny home builders that our residents have used and are very happy with. Here are some of the builders who have built homes in our tiny home community.

Q: Are DIY tiny homes allowed?

A: Yes! Do note that we do require that DIY homes have a certification from Bildsworth or an electrical inspection, and meet insurance requirements.

Q: Are your tiny house vacation rentals pet friendly?

A: Yes, well behaved pets are allowed to stay in many of the tiny home vacation rentals with a pet deposit. But please read the descriptions of the home to ensure the home you’re wanting to rent does allow pets before booking.

Q: Is the tiny home community pet friendly?

A: Yes, our pets are our family! There are many trails to enjoy with your four legged friend in and around Acony Bell. However, we do expect dogs to be leashed within the community and to be picked up after.

Q: What amenities are offered in your tiny house community?

A: We offer a variety of amenities for full time residents, including trash and recycling, hiking trails, a refurbished 100-year old stone community clubhouse with laundry facilities, a community garden and chickens, and so much more. Visit our community page to learn more about what we offer.

Q: Do you have any tiny homes for sale?

A: We do not sell homes directly but we do have residents that sell tiny homes from time to time, but the best way to find those is by following us on social media (they go quick). You can find Acony Bell on both Facebook & Instagram. Most re-sales are listed on tinyhouselsitings.com and handled by the owner.

Q: Do you rent tiny houses?

A: We manage vacation rentals on behalf of owners. These are short term rentals that are all listed on Airbnb. Please visit our vacation rentals page to check them out and book your stay with us! Sorry, there are no long term rentals available.

Q: Are there any tiny house lots available?

A: Lots become available unexpectedly at times and we appreciate your patience as we navigate the best ways to fill these spots in a timely manner. We are currently releasing open lots on a first come, first served basis. Those interested in new lots must tour the community and lot, as well as, pass a background and credit check for contract signing.

Q: Are there any tiny home rentals with bedrooms on the bottom floor?

A: Yes, visit our vacation rentals on Airbnb to take a look at the variety of homes, many of which do have bedrooms or pullouts on the bottom floor.

Q: How many lots do you have at Acony Bell Tiny Home Community?

A: There are currently 80 lots in Acony Bell, all with their own power and sewer hookup. 17 of the homes are vacation rentals and are located in their own section of the village.

Q: How can I lease a lot to park my tiny home?

A: Lots become available oftentimes unexpectedly, but we often are booked up. When lots do become available, we will lease them on a first come, first served basis.
